THE SOLDIERS

A grenadier of Barrels Regiment (4th Foot) and an officer of Blighs Regiment (20th Foot). The grenadier wears the uniform of the Foot regiments of Cumberland's army. distinguished by mitre caps and shoulder wings. Barrel's Regiment was on the left flank of the Government front line at Culloden. Blighs Regiment was In the centre of the second line.
