on Leaven Down and for 5 hogs in Singleton Forest, sold to the 3rd Duke of Richmond by George Barrell, citizen and merchant of Chichester, and William Collick of Singleton, blacksmith, 1 May 1760  land called Phillis Deanes in Singleton, sold by John Barnard of Midhurst, plumber and glazier, to the trustees of the Duke of Richmond's marriage settlement, 25 Oct. 1750  smith's shop and land called Phillis Deane and land called Broadham, is a release, 20 May 1760, from the 3rd Duke of Richmond to William Collick of Singleton, blacksmith, of a tenement, garden and orchard in Singleton, late in occ. of Elizabeth Collick, widow, and a blacksmith's shop in Singleton near the highway leading to Cocking, at an annual rent of 1s. 5d. (About 5 miles north of Chichester west Sussex)
